This month, I’d like to celebrate the start of school by going on a field trip. We’ll have our meeting in the daylight hours for a change (but don’t worry–those of you with “day jobs” this isn’t permanent!) It will give a chance for some folks that hate fighting traffic and finding sitters a chance to come for some fun, be inspired, find respite during this busy season, and get to know your colleagues.
We’ll meet at the Amon Carter Museum
3501 Camp Bowie Boulevard
Fort Worth, TX 76107-2695
817.738.1933
On Thursday, September 9th
at 10 am-11:30 am
to see their extensive photography (and other American art!) collection including the exhibitions:
Ansel Adams: Eloquent Light
and
Masterworks of American Photography
Admission to the museum is free and there is plenty of free parking available. Please meet at the front steps or come looking for us. RSVP is a must since groups of 10 or more do require a heads up to the museum. We can then plan grab lunch someplace in the nearby cultural district for networking fun!
